Orange Crush – Marilyn Minter

Provocative and erotic or repulsive?  What do you see?

Minter’s work mixes a glamour shot feel with subjects that can disturb its audiences.  Personally I quite like the piece, the full lips pressed against the glass as the model like what looks to be coloured sugar and sugar balls from a glass panel.

Minter produces photorealism work, and this particular work is painted enamel on metal panels, 9 foot high by 15 foot wide.  This is part of her Pretty/Dirty collection and you can see more of her work here
