The definition of possibility is:- things that may happen or be the case. Its such a simple description for something that potentially has such a impact on you.
Possibilities are endless, and they twist and change with every decision we make in our lives. Ultimately you can live your life with your eyes looking down, blinded to the possibilities that lay ahead of you, or you can look up and see those possibilities laid out before you, choosing the paths which seem the best at any given moment and live your life to the fullest.
Zhong Biao presents this theory in this beautifully chaotic piece of art.
Acrylic and charcoal form a mass of swirling, undefined potential in the right hand corner, while in the top left hand corner a seemingly empty frame, suggesting that possibilities remain unseen to the viewer, even though you can see the potential of them hiding in sight.
I stumbled across this piece of art randomly in a google search, but I was so struck by it that I wanted to share it. It is so easy to interpret the meaning and message from the artist, even if on the outset it looks fairly abstract.
There is no hidden meaning or great analogy I can bring to you with this painting, so please just enjoy it and the possibilities it brings to you.
